Fab video jfm, great footage to be proud of :cool:

Did JC leave with a boat on his Christmas list or was it just the thrill of pushing the throttles forward on twin V12 that interested him ?

Does he not already have a boat? I know he dropped by the IPC stand a few years back at London for a chat about what sort of boat he should be buying. Not sure if he did in the end or not, but that little encounter ended up in one of his columns and ultimately in one of his books.

In one of his books he looked at the pros and cons of owning one.........particularly from a financial point of view.

He's probably very sensibly concluded that boats are far too expensive to buy and run and therefore not worth the limited time he could spend on one. IMHO that's probably a conclusion that many of us should have drawn had we applied an ounce of common sense to it:)
 
Just watched it. Enjoyed seeing the red "drinks" on Match. Also swmbo pointed out the La Garde Freinet road which we often use to get to St Trop and which she always says is a real top gear sort of a road. I missed it whilst giggling about the seat heater gag. Sometimes it doesn't take much to amuse me.
 
Perrier, egg white, paprika. It's called a "Clarkson on the Beach" and is on all the best cocktail menus in London, NY and LA these days
 
Apparently Hammond is The One Show tonight at 1900 BBC 1 talking about The Perfect Road Trip. Bound to show some clips.

Having missed most of and not gone back over the M2 build thread but remembering the M1 thread, watching the vid I noticed the complete change of fb dash/helm layout on 2, hence thinking that 1 was your perfect design I'm wondering what prompted the change?

I can still see it (Friday 29 Nov @10.45) Al. I guess youtube has already decided that you guys are going to leave the UK and already cut you off from seeing UK-only content. :D
 
Sadly its been deleted, I just got to watch the boats bit and missed the last 20 mins or so.

The e type is stunning, oh I forgot its a boat forum , and of course match is too.

The full movie was back up on youtube 1 minute ago in HD (720p). I guess it will keep getting posted, then taken down, then posted again by someone else, and so on...
 
Wife's just informed me she s bought the DVD as stocking filler for Xmas ( not a forum reader)
Told me its got some SoF in it and Ferraris

Ah well haven,t the heart to tell her i,ve seen it .
