I've recently come across a sad looking one of these in a neighbour's field in Warwickshire.
Is there likely to be any sort of demand for this "project"? If so then where would be the best place to advertise it?
Thanks

Whoo hoo, first post and I get to answer a question..

I looked at a tod tornado in swansea a few weeks ago, was on eblag twice but didnt sell on either occaision,

item should still be viewable, item id 300609916741
should be able to gauge condition/interest from the listing
it would have been just what I was looking for, but in the flesh it was apparent that Bodge it & scarper had been at work and most of the repairs needed doing again.

Atleast 5 yrs and I realise it's a Tuna not a Tornado - it's me age!!!

PS.
Welcome Grunter

Thanks Whisper, got me thinking there was a tornado project available for awhile there.
Maybe not the best craft to start out in but i quite like them.

iirc that's like Growing Lad's boat out in Greece, is it not?

Tiss, but it isn't apparently.
When GL first posted on the ID of His now tidy vessel
I , plus others thought She was/is a Todd
I think the Jury is still out
Maybe GL will be along soon to enlighten Us
If He aint looking after childers and babies
Or making more!:D:D

Took a look at said supect tuna of GL, and as I am hunting through craft for potential purchase stumbled on one which looks almost exactly similar. Birchwood 25? although I thought GL's was slightly longer?

Can anyone advise as to where to advertise this "project"?. In theory it should be very collectable being at the forefront of GRP's use in boats.
Looks very forlorn sat in a field, on its trailer.

Not much demand at all if the last few I have watched are anything to go by, there is a project tuna on the bay at the moment on its 3rd time around, last time there were no bids even with 99p start, the seller does have feedback issues though!
Other trouble with the tuna is the number of different configurations and if the adverts are to be believed, different lengths too.
could you Pm me some details and poss a pic or two, I am in the market for a project and not ruling out anything at the moment, although I am really looking for something bigger.

Worth putting it on the Classic Offshore site I would think, Tod had some early ofshore success I think.
