Thanks for the message.

In answer to your question the corsair is a westerly 36ft centrecockpit.
We chose her for the trip for a number of reasons

She is fairly heavy and they have a good reputation
Nice motion because of the above and the longish shallowish keel
Great layout, especially the aft cabin. Suits us as we plan to have kids one day.
Two of us will be able to handle her ok
And she just felt "right"

I thought she was a Westerly! I grew up sailing wise on Westerlys. Brilliant liveaboard and seaworthy too!
