I have an Aquastar Oceanranger 33 with twin TMD41a engines. They have both been rebuilt and are in excellent running condition. I have looked on the internet for info but although there is lots for the TAMD41a (which has intercoolers and rated at 200HP) I can find diddly squat on the TMD41a. I know they are rated at 150HP each but not sure what maximum WOT should give in terms of RPM. I am guessing 3800-3900 but I only achieve 3400 . Bottom is clean and there are no problems starting and/or running so I am suspecting that she is over propped. Before I can calculate prop spec however I need to know what max WOT should give. Anyone know?

Hi. This technical spec document covers TMD41b (hopefully no significant difference to the "a") WorkshopManualTechnicalData.pdf
Page 18 shows max rpm of 3900 same as the TAMD41b

Before you start fiddling with prop pitch.
What do they rev to at high idle and is it the same on both engines ?
