We was in Licata last winter and since they shut the fish farm the fouling was much less .

Just out of interest. How does a fish farm affect fouling? Or are you using the closure to reference the approx date.

The marina is in the iner harbour the outer harbour had several fish farm , the feed was the problem or so everyone thinks,
I no not lie you could see muscles growing by the week .
Thought hull fitting where block and prop had piled hanging off them .
Bottom of keels and hull you could eat for months what was hanging off them

Boat on mooring near us hadn't moved for several years and they needed diver to clear prop and rudder before motoring to the yard where they removed estimated 400kg of weed and mussels.

I reckon there are a few boats like that in Portsmouth Harbour
