Time for a change

Enjoying the 35 Dave?

Mrs FP and mini-FP are loving the "big boat" feel (is 36ft a big boat?).
I enjoy the space and not hitting my head, and the sensation of "not going to die" when it gets choppy, but I'm slightly missing the "speedboat experience".
Driving an Sc35 isn't a million miles away from driving a bus.

Freshly caught Sea Bass, cooked in a salt crust, lemon, new potatoes, with a decent Sancerre ... you might revisit that no fish rule.

Just wondering if you are going to drystack your MF895. That is what I do with my MF and that is one of the things I really enjoy. No fouling, no anti-fouling and you don't really need to secure the boat as it is up in a rack. Worth considering with that style of boat.

50% of our boating is simply enjoying the outlook and comings and goings from our berth. We love having the option of either taking her out or simply relaxing on the berth so dry stacking isn't for us but I understand why it appeals to others.

The view from up there would be pretty good?

Amazing accom for the size of boat. I think you'll have plenty of fun buzzing around. Just hop aboard and away you go!
If you haven't already, I would seriously consider a cockpit enclosure- it'll be a godsend if you want to spread out. And fit heating if you can - a friend has a wheelhouse and finds a demister outlet is essential for late/early cruising.

We've gone for the enclosure canopy for just that reason. Heating we're not particularly bothered about as we'll just use a plug in when on shore power. We've never used heating when under way so that doesn't bother us especially as I'm strictly a warm weather boater (don't do cold brrrrr)
