Did he manage to write it without bleating about the DVLA or corrupt police, I wouldn't read his stuff while there are cereal packet sides still available for more entertainment.

I think that was completely uncalled for. Read the comments already in this thread and if you can bring yourself to open your mind enough to bother to read the article then you might just find that you learn something.

We bow to your superior knowledge; based on how many weeks on the forum??? It sounds like TB has written a first class article, his musings on here however range from the obsessive to the narrow minded. DW, knows him a hell of a lot better than you do. I will give TB's article a shot and pick up a copy though.

Agree - Great Article

Informative - well written and easy to follow AND PRACTICAL.

A while ago someone had a thread about what to put into a modern sailing magazine - Can i suggest that you use this article as a template for what we want when looking at equipment.

I'm sorry you feel that my number of weeks on the forum makes my point of view less valid  but I'm pleased to see you are at least more open minded than DW and will at least read the article. Perhaps when you have you can post your review on here? I am sure people will find your review more valid than others - you being a member here since November 2004. My, you must have achieved almost God status by now!

I stopped YM 2 years ago because of all the repeats and rehashes of previous articles,in fact over the last few weeks I spent some time looking through old YM's and PBO's which I had kept ,in case there was anything interesting and I did notice that the same type of article seemed to recur regularly, with new words and pictures.

Anyway..having seen this post,it seems that Tim's article is worth buying the magazine for.

Is the March issue the one with the goods?
