Does anyone know if there are computer programs on sale which work out the
height of tide at anytime if you infput the data for a port on a particular date ?

Belfield Software do a cracking tide calculation program that allows you to do just about anything you want, including calculating how much water there is under you keel, find the time of day for a particular height of tide, print of tide tables and tide curves etc etc, for a huge number of harbours. And it's less than a tenner

WXtide32 no longer does UK ports due to the UKHO refusing to let anyone use the harmonic constants required for the calculations - they claim they own them.

You will need to get an older version of the program and hope that UKHO don't come knocking on your door demanding their license fees.

No other country in the world has done this as far as I am aware. Makes you proud to be British, doesn't it?
