Spoke to keith belfield, it works on my windows powered HTC Touch and i now have the tides for the whole of uk and europe on my phone, superb, recommend highly Belfields Tide Plotter
I saw this yesterday, when I was looking to see how much longer the easterly gales were going to last!
I wondered, if it shows springs/neaps, or does it just show high/low times and where in between for your chosen location? I suspect it's times only.
It's a pretty interface, but when you break it down you don't get much for your money. It's a bit like the tide-clock on my kitchen wall - just a clock with a 12.5 hour (roughly) cycle - set it at high tide and it keeps track for ever - no clever maths or pediction.
it shows heights so one can deduct, it shows the moon phases, you can prog it with your depth and keel depth and it will tell you if you will touch, it does a graph, but most important it has most of the ports and notable places from here to gib, no more deducting from dover, it tells you actuals of most places. did a trip from cardiff to pwllheli the other week, no need to calculate, dale look it up, milford, pwllheli, no probs. worth every penny
