I reckon I got this one just about right - 0.020 m clearance as I passed under Bursledon Bridge ...

Constrained by (air) draught, I was stand on vessel.

It was flat calm with less than 1 knot of tide at the start of the ebb, so I went up to the opening to see if it would fit, and it would, just. Couldn't have done it without the bow thruster to trim the boat dead centre under each arch section, of which there are about 10, all precisely the same height and profile.

The air draught was more than twice what was under the keel...

Look had I damaged the boat I am sure SWMBO would eternally remind me - and that's far worse than failing a YM exam !!!
