Where do you buy service parts, particularly to avoid invalidating the warranty?

what engine is it
The engines you refer to are not made by Beta Marine - The engines are Kubota so any agricultural supplier or plant parts place should be able to supply fuel and oil filters - engine anodes are another thing. Beta merely "marinise" the engines.

SeaPower Marine have genuine Beta spares at reasonable prices. This is where we bought the spares for our 35.

Was just looking at their online shop. I think there's a glitch and all it seems to show is spares for a Beta 20. You may need to give them a ring to order (and let them know about the glitch!).Thanks for this

The paperwork which came with our new Beta specifically says that genuine Beta or Kubota filters must be used to maintain the warrantee. I buy from TS Marine who are a Beta agent, but that is because they are based at universal marina, where we keep the boat, so no delivery charges. An oil filter is £8 + vat. Once the engine is 3 yrs old, I'll almost certainly switch to filters from the local motor factors.....
interestingly enough i also have a new beta 35 and went to give it its first oil change 2 weeks ago.
I bought the spares pack with the engine so that I could at least argue the case in the event of a warranty claim
When i took off the oil filter I found it was a smaller diameter to the one they had supplied as a spare and it wouldn't fit as it clashed with the hose above
Had to go out and get an equal replacement and need to write to them to record the facts and send them some photos!
Make sure you check the anode BTW mine had almost disappeared
I will try and use BETA parts but at times I wont be able to! The fuel filter changeover interval is circa 750 hours! so I can't see the point in scrimping
