Where we are there is the infamous Mistral. It comes barrelling down the Rhône valley turns right and comes straight for us. There is a long peninsula called Giens which protects us (the first photo) but the other side is really windy and of course that is the windsurfing beach.
But of course there are many calm days.
So the prevailing wind comes from the west but of course it also can come from any direction. All in all it’s a superb place for every kind of boating, truly very beautiful

All making me very jealous! No idea when we're be able to get back to our boat (in Spain). May just have to bite the bullet and accept 14 days quarantine upon our return. Only had 1 trip to it since taking delivery in March, not the best year to but a new boat for that Med dream :rolleyes:
