I see that everyone is gang planking up on me
Its in the rade of Hyeres but closer to the eastern end, next to Estagnol, and in front of your favourite man’s chateauI think I know that anchorage. Is it behind the sticky out bit near Hyeres?
Ah so you were being wined and dined by Lord JCB again? Btw I see the Special One wants Troy Deeney as Spurs’ ‘saviour’ to replace Harry. Looks like he’s reverting to route 1 football. That should go down well with the White Hart Lane faithfulsIts in the rade of Hyeres but closer to the eastern end, next to Estagnol, and in front of your favourite man’s chateau
Wasn’t he Watford’s captain ? Doesn’t he belong in the old second division?Ah so you were being wined and dined by Lord JCB again? Nice contrast between the rose and the sunset. Artistic!I think I know that anchorage. Is it behind the sticky out bit near Hyeres?
Woo hoo I'm a legend. Possibly not in a good way...Scala, you have just given me my one thousandth ‘positive reaction’. Congratulations, something to tell your grandchildren about????
Book quick! We are leaving Mallorca on the 19th for the same reason. Here is now very quiet. We will struggle to make the 4am deadline so we're going to cut short our holiday so the kids don't miss too much school after the 14 day quarantine. The rise in infections here in France is also pursuading us to modify what we're doing.. more time at anchor, less time in towns
We have Eurotunnel flexible tickets so we'll be fine getting back, just not sure of an overnight stop on the way backBook quick! We are leaving Mallorca on the 19th for the same reason. Here is now very quiet.
We are planned to head down 21 Aug, but being based in Germany right now we don't have the risk of the boarder closing so we are planning on going. Yes we are going to modify our plans and probably won't be going to St Tropez. The Lerins and time at anchor will be the plan for now. The other option is to head to Italy instead. A real pity, but not much we can do about it.We will struggle to make the 4am deadline so we're going to cut short our holiday so the kids don't miss too much school after the 14 day quarantine. Looks like I just got back home just in time, still hoping to get back late September. I drove back in one go on Sunday 12hrs to Calais no problem, didn't fancy a hotel stop. I always use the Flex tickets, well worth it for the convenience. We have Eurotunnel flexible tickets so we'll be fine getting back, just not sure of an overnight stop on the way back
Strongly recommend Italy. No foreigners here at all. Currently in Syracuse. People out and about, good atmosphere. No festivals but all restaurants open. Anchorages no issue, only Italians around. Absolute bliss. Only concern is wondering whether there will be much to return to in UK at least economically wise.We are planned to head down 21 Aug, but being based in Germany right now we don't have the risk of the boarder closing so we are planning on going.
