As for shortish boat, I'll have you know she is all of 25'2" although those 2" fall off on the odd occasion I visit marinas...
this is my first proper sail with he Navik actually, but it's nothing short of an engineering masterpiece!
ive not touched the helm in 4 hours now! Set the course to 35' off the wind, trim sails and sit back. She holds a far better course than I can. Each tack so far has consisted of twirling the knob to the reciprocal course which starts a nice easy tack, just slow enough to get the genoa back winding just as I get to the sheets. Then reach for mug of coffee.
Once she is on course all the tell tails have not Left their streaming position. It's like they are painted on the sails.
