.........do we have a tradition on this Forum of sharing our New Years Resolutions with everyone!!

Mine is rather mundane but I gave up smoking 8 months ago and now I have to give up putting on weight. Trouble is, to give up putting on weight I have to give up drinking Guiness, if I give up drinking Guiness, I'LL DIE!

A very very long time ago when boats were still built from trees, I made a New Year resolution that I have kept without fail ever since. It makes me feel smug, holier than thou and all the other things to inform fellow forumites and anyone else within range of my total success in this. It has also enabled me to be even more smug and tell you I have never broken a New Year resolution again....

The resolution? Never, ever, to make New Years resolutions again.
