found this pic recently, think I may have posted it before, always makes me remember what the sea can be like sometimes, especially when its crap as it is at the mo.
 
Do those tugs leave a MASSIVE wake behind them?
We have some that operate out of Avonmouth, when crossing behind them its like riding a roller coaster! /forums/images/graemlins/grin.gif
 
If it is part of the daring then its back in Pompey now with all the other bits stuck on /forums/images/graemlins/grin.gif
 
It is part of one of the new RN type 45 destroyers....

Cannot be sure which one though, amazing to have seen these sections during manufacture at VT now called BVT in pompey.

I was involved as the company I work for carry out heavy machining for BVT.

Great British engineering at its best.
 
I was helming a big boat a while back, summer I think, we were going very slowly, so slowly in fact that as you looked down the side of the boat you could see the mirror image of the boat beside you, just getting disturbed by the gentle wash off the stern, an image that stays with you forever /forums/images/graemlins/grin.gif
