To start this I would like to declare I am not trying to be a self appointed forum rozzer, we have enough already /forums/images/graemlins/grin.gif

When people decide to do an online poll would it be possible to leave it open for a few days. Five minutes like the one for bio details which I think is something worth asking about, only gives a sample size of 4 or 5 people. Now this may be ok for the UBERlabour party and it's ID popularity polls, but hardly gives time for anyone to answer.

I would suggest for a serious poll, 2 days should be minimum.

Oh and as far as bios goes, would like to see boat type come back and MMSI, I might even fill mine in so the other person in the north west with a dsc can call me.

My honourable friend, I just went back to check. It still appears closed to me, damn, did you click the open vote except shipswoofy option?

Am I missing something, does it still seem open to you, or is Kim nipping them in the bud. I see my mooring poll is closed, yet I did not stipulate a close date when setting it up.

Just a thought....how do the results get published ?

Do we have to go back to the thread AFTER expiry of the poll ?

Trouble is I can't imagine many people go back through old threads too far so the results will get ignored.

I could be wrong but I think that once you have voted it becomes closed to you so that you can't vote again!

I did not get to vote at all, I understand what you are saying, but this was not the case.

Unless, if it is using IP addresses someone on the same <node> is that right? has answered and prevented me. Anyone use NTL manchester?
