Well it looks like a reasonable one, even if the great sunshine forecasts of earlier in the week are no longer being shown.

What is everyone up to?

We're back on Merit this week, after a Rassy 36 last week and a Benny 427 the week before, things might seem a little more basic but it'll be good to be home!

SWMBO has agreed to venture out of the harbour in preperation for our summer cruise in a months time and if the weather stays nice, we might dry out on East Head on sunday and have a few hours on the beach.

Plan A was to head down to the Folly tomorrow, but with the IOW festival, we're trying to think of a plan B in case the visitors pontoons are full of festival goers.

Either way, we're going somewhere. We've missed the last two weekends and we're not going to miss out this weekend!

We'll be moving Emjaytoo from Vlissingen to her permanent berth in the Veerse Meer. After last weeks crossing from Ipswich, it should be a relaxed trip. A few bridges up the Walcheren Canal, then a lock and then a few hours sail down to Kortgene. Some sunshine for the camera would be nice. /forums/images/graemlins/smile.gif

A wedding on Saturday (with rain currently forecast!) so no trip out on our boat this weekend. Might manage a brief sail on someone else's cat on Sunday.

We have visitors.
Plan to suggest a trip to Chichester and overnight there but we may end up with just a day sail.

Winds look pretty light. /forums/images/graemlins/frown.gif

No sign of it on the weather radar, but I just went outside to photograph Leopoard 3, who's just put her mast up in Empress Dock, and it looks like thunder and smells like rain out there. The wind has disappeared as well.

No sailing? Nevermind, we can't all be lucky all the time. I'm sure you'll get through it and be back on the water soon.
