I'm happy or sad to say, the YBW Forum Trailer is no longer in a forum member ownership!

The trailer was collected at lunchtime today by its new owner. It was won on Ebay by the new owners daughter, and he hadn't seen it till today.

He was a very nice gentleman who obviously likes his boats, as he has one on Loch Lomond and one in the River Tay. He was very happy with the trailer, and didn't have any issues giving me the full money.
He has bought it to keep his 23' Seamaster on over the winter, and when he left me was taking it straight to Balmaha on Loch Lomond side where the boat is, before taking it to his home near Dundee.

I have told the new owner about YBW.com, and the great Trailer Relay thread, so he might look in, although I doubt he'll ever find the thread with the search engine here, so one of us may have to point him in the right direction(i.e. can anyone post a link to it, here please).

So here are the last pics for me on this subject!

It towed very well.

I wouldn't strictly say the trailer is secondhand, most of it is all brand new, and you couldn't buy a new trailer for anywhere near that price.

I think the buyer got it for a fair price and all those who saw the trailer would probably agree it was well worth that amount.
I never set out to make a profit, and adding all things up i think i broke even, so as i say i'm happy. And as far as i'm aware so is the new owner.

Hopefully we'll maybe see him on here sometime.

Any way we're off to a used boat show, I wonder what £1600 will buy! /forums/images/graemlins/grin.gif

Cheers
