Yes also enjoyed your first three video's as most have some dolly bird bouncing around the deck, except I watched Expedition Evans from the start as that lass is a rare one and she sure knows what hard work is
and at least they both work for a living not like other sites where they receive money from stupid people who have more money than sense
I sailed for years offshore without AIS, but after nearly getting run down by a container ship doing 15 knots I fitted one a week later. At least get a receiver as that will at least tell you who the ship is, its course, speed, destination etc ,
After experimenting for a few months I set mine to the 10 mile range as container ships these days a surprisingly very fast.
When you come down the east coast take extra planning as many harbors close in bad weather so plan your 'bolt holes carefully
