unfortunately most of the bridges on the broards inc yarmouth and lowestoft are a complete pain rail bridges won’t operate if it gets to hot Haven is a joke 1.2million being spent on it 4 months plus behind schedule and they won’t open it carlton rail is operational again but needs 48hrs notice and are reluctant saw it open for the first time in a long while a couple of weeks ago there were endless amounts of men in high viz perhaps they were there to push it there are a number of businesses suffering because of these problems councils an british rail need to get there arses in gear stop making excuses and sort the problems

Apart from the problems with the Haven Bridge at Great Yarmouth, there were recently a lot of works going on at Lowestoft, with some reduction in bridge openings, IIRC. I don't know if that's still the situation.
The Havengore Bridge was back in service recently after a long series of failures. Again I'm not certain of the current situation.
No idea about Kent, but I have heard there be dragons.

Lowestoft Road bridges are opening normally.
Carlton Rail bridge is currently flying two red flags. NetworkRail has announced they are (finally) going to renew various components on the Carlton, Somerleyton and Reedham swing bridges starting next year.
Not much help for this year, but certainly long overdue.
