The Nights

It's you! But we have had the longest day, but of course a man of your education would know that! Did you see the fifes on the Clyde, my brother was anchored up there as they sailed around, he said they looked magnificent!

Ah the nights,

After a fantastic full days sailing, you pull up in a secluded cove, water so flat you can see the reflection of the stars, you hear the mournful cry of the night birds from the nearby island; and there you sit, sucking a single malt, don't you just love the nights.

The peace, the rotation of the stars, the lowering of the moon, disturbed only by the snoring of the first mate, the farting of the second mate, and the pervading smell of sea boots.

Sounds and smells like time for a crew change Ken. . . . . .

It's you. They are not drawing in yet. The longest day has passed, but sunset still has not reached its latest time for this year. It's sunrise that is getting later at the moment, making the days shorter. You've got a few more days before you can moan about the evenings drawing in. Make the most of them. See Pwllheli's statisics for this week for example...

Our dog farts as well, its absolutely rancid, smells a bit like a 3 year old holding tank. Do'nt suppose there's enough room in the Twister for a holding tank .. is there?

I\'ve seen your bottom

Bright red and and clean - all the way down to the fin which was exposed in one or two of Sundays gusts.

Re: I\'ve seen your bottom

Can assure you that the windows were also washed thoroughly. Exciting sailing 'specially out to Toward Point with the squalls coming off the shore.

Should have changed to the number 3 but would have lost out later when the wind died. Got a third place so made up for the retiral on the saturday.

Glad to hear that the Blakes Tiger stuff is doing its job.

Did you have a good weekend?

Regards

Donald
