I believe this a cheap copy of the Na-Roc

I assume, as there's no galvanising, that ironstone is considered an inappropriate material for it?

as they would be good to carry as spares!

Did you know that ??

- It seems that the first anchor designer has been the Chinese Emperor WU (2205- 2197 BC) who is supposed to be the inventor of the Killick anchor ( patent in the public domain )

- the name “ Ancora ” is coming from the ancient Greek and means curved of hooked..

- the invention of the anchor known as a <span style="color:blue"> Fisherman </span> anchor could have been done by ANARCHARSIS (600-590 BC)

- The first Pope, St Clement has been martyred by the Emperor Hadrian around 100 AD, being cast into the sea with an anchor tied around his neck.

- The first study stating that Fluke area, not the weight, was the most important holding factor, has been done during extensive trials done in 1943 by the Admiralty..

As I understand it, the best advice - when confussed by an anchor - is to wander off towards the pub, declaring over one's shoulder 'You sort out the anchor. I've go more important things to do.....'
