On the Cork coast its,
pressure 968
39 knots av. sp.
wave ht only 6.7 metres.

so not so bad but it could get a lot worse tonight.

Yes, those namby pamby S.E. boaters don't know what proper weather is. We've had a solid 8 most of the day with gusts up to 10.
Road between Slapton Sands and Torcross had to be closed due to huge seas.
Our poor little boat got damage to its gelcoat when it came over onto the footpath on top of the estuary wall in Kingsbridge. I've never known the tide to be so high - flooded the carpark of pub next door.
O me miserum!!

Oh and hlb has arrived down here for his hols. again /forums/images/icons/laugh.gif - how sad.
