Our boat has arrived safely in Tollesbury, phew
Cleared customs, trucked up on Monday and arrived Tuesday, I went up with the kids (wife working sadly) to see how she was and everything looked fine
She was lifted onto a cradle and the mast removed and unwrapped so the mast could be dressed. I then spent a busy day crawling around clearing out rubbish, looking for stuff, trying to remember how she went back together and making a long list of little jobbies that need doing.
As of today the guys at the yard in Tollesbury have done all the underwater stuff, cleaned and tidied the hull, checked the seacocks, launched her, stepped the mast and re-rigged her. Tomorrow the electrics and electronics are being put back together and the sprayhood and bimini put on. They've done very well so far, hats off to Martin, Paul and the gang for making such good progress

I've ordered a new radio and a step-down isolation transformer so UK shorepower and other odds and ends will all sorted out when I'm down at the weekend. We reckon we'll take our time over next week cleaning up and settling in again. I need to do the gas conversion as well.
It was surreal to finally see her here in Essex after over three years, but I was over the moon - made all the expense in shipping her over worth every penny
Pop in if you're around, she's on J pontoon - it was nice to meet NigelM on Tuesday and distract him from his boat chores for a while.
