Is it rechargeable or for connection to 240 volts anybody know?
Thanks gents.I think I will have to buy the second hand one.Waiting for LIDL to deliver the goods is frustrating & I need to get on.(lots of internal work to do this winter removing old headlining & other stuff that I hope it's going to come in useful for).
I have a Clarke equivalent from machine mart. has had a hard life for the last few year and still running strong.

If you can't think of a use for your dremeloid, put a sharpening wheel on it and you will soon find it gets used.
I've just been using my Li-Ion Dremel with router attachment because a 1000watt Bosch router is awkward.
Bought the recent Lidl's offer which is rechargeable. Great bit of kit, don't know how I ever managed without one!
I keep an old ( very old) electric drill on a stand with a small grinding wheel on it. But I havent used it since ......... yesterday!
I have one from Aldi.... Mains powered.
I suspect compared with a Dremel that it is not very good. It has that cheap and cheerful feel about it. Bought it on impulse because everybody on here seemed to find Dremels so useful but as yet not used it for anything....... white elephant that will probably go in the skip still unused when I "pop me clogs"
Lidl have offered a cordless one and a mains one both with /without kits of tools
I bought the cheap Aldi multi-tool with a kit of tools for £14.
I've used it loads. The tools wear out pretty quickly. It's been great for fiddly bits when I've been modifying the car.
I also have a bench grinder which I use quite a bit. They are so cheap I don't know why you wouldn't. Sharpening drill bits alone justifies it.
I extravagantly bought a cheap pillar drill which, although it doesn't have much torque, has been great for drilling steel plate which I've used quite a lot for my mods.
If I'd paid £300 for one I'd be regretting it but £50 (catalogue returns) was ideal.
Cheap tools are fine by me.
This was mentioned in a new edition of Standing Orders the other day... should be downsizing / de-cluttering not buying more.
