"The Beast" is currently at anchor in the Carrick Roads

We just sailed past it this afternoon - it’s not pretty

Theres a US boat cslled Rebecca on the outside visitors pontoon at Pendennis (so about a mile away from the beast which is probably about the same price which IS stunningly beautiful

Why all the negative? Envy? It's an amazing bit of design and engineering skill. Not to everybody's taste, clearly, but that's subjective. I bet that building that and more importantly operating it over its designed life is gonna take a high level of skill.
Even if it's looks don't suit, there's lots to admire.
Oh, don't think cruise ships need handholds either. ?

Yes, Rebecca is gorgeous - she was designed by German Frers and built by Pendennis.

Are we supposed to be happy clappy positive all the time? Are we no longer allowed to say it as we see it? The negative influence here is the ugly boat. Inside and out.

Totally subjective as I said. There is no contest about what is 'allowed'. It's simply that not everyone has the same opinion. Which is good, surely?
