That is the classic new generation anchor logic taken to a wonderful extreme . Praise it to the skies for a better shape then get one massively oversized compared to the old generation one which held you for years but failed once badly enough for you to change.

Then claim it's the new anchor type not the massively oversizing that makes your new one so great.
 
I don't know what those saw teeth on the shank can possibly do on making the anchor blades hold, but I sure know they will stop it going up the bow roller. Who on earth designed it and had they ever been in a boat?
 
I am puzzled it's the sort of marketing stuff I'd imagine appropriate to propel sales of a new energetic drink to a very wide audience, rather than a niche product for professionals.
Do oil rig operators choose anchors the same way a newby boater does, by looking at sailing magazine adverts and the like?

Marketing departments gotta have some reason to keep pushing for more money in their budgets. Look at the shiny new ad we made!
