Does anyone know much about the Shetland 27 ? used to be called Atlanta 27

This site is dedicated to Shetland owners, they have a link to the Shetland owners club and they have original brochures going back 30 years. You will find bits for your boat at better prices than most places, I hope you find it useful.

I had a look around the 27 at Southampton Boat Show this year. I liked the look of the space and facilities, though Fit out quality was IMHO a bit lacking, (electric cabling and other fittings that were in cupboards were out of sight out of mind and a bit untidy). These things can be put right of course, by careful insopection of boat before final payment, or if buying second hand. Comes with a bow thruster as standard, apparently. Stern drive or shaft (Nanni diesel is one of the engine options). I thought they were a bit over-priced.
