I'm as much of a rebel against rules as the next person but you do have to pick your battles. Boating forums are free for us but can cause all kinds of hassle (and legal issues) so I don't think it's too much to keep politics etc which is almost guaranteed to cause division, out of the game.

Yes but, changing one’s username to ‘not happy’ does add style to the flounce.

And, unless I’m mistaken, the only previous instance of a name change on leaving might have been ‘Deleted User XYZ’ …and that fellow is a legend.

I have just discovered that you can indeed change your own username, that feature is relatively new. So the dearly / nearly departed may indeed have done the deed himself.
