Thanks for all the great contacts and information – some of the skippers here will continue to accompany me out at sea.

But I won’t let stupid rules and administrators dictate what I can and can’t say.

He posted on the thread discussing the current fuel costs / availability. His response described the sparring nations using terms that some might consider overtly political or inflammatory....

Also I note that someone has renamed him, he was 'Skipper Felice' (Happy Skipper) and is now "NO Felice' (Not Happy). Could be a mod with a sense of humour...

Shame you won't stick around, but I did see the post you made, and I think it was correct that the mods removed it. I like the fact that this forum is just about the boats and there are plenty of places on line where we can discuss our political views, whatever they may be.

Could be that most of the posters are AI as well. Certainly FaceBook and Xwitter seem to be dominated by AI bots these days.

Well, he does say he "drives" a Tesla but then says "it drives itself" so maybe it posts on Forums as well and all these lovely pictures are actually just from the Tesla's dozens of cameras

Yes it was. He used terms to describe the warring parties that were probably outside of normally acceptable language on a public forum. Regardless of what you think generally of moderated decisions, I'm of the view in this particular case that pulling that post on the grounds of inflammatory language was the right decision. The OP was then unimpressed by that decision, and decided to flounce...

PS. It wasn't me that reported it....!
