I have gone and checked pretty much every system on the boat now, and have her pretty much ship shape, and prepareing for the coming winter. I will still be using the boat, go fishing, bit of scuba diving, trips to guernsey and sark/herm etc.
To this end, i dont have a spare anchor, is it wise, or necessary. More to the point, what type should i buy for use as a kedge, (weight, design etc) considering the tidal movemint in and around the channel islands, i reckon may be better to use one than wake up in embarrassing and expensive circumstances.
Also, my tender looks like it has been rolled up and forgotten in the boot, since the boat was built.... Admittedly, i havent tried blowing it up yet, am just more likely going to buy a new one. I have resurected the old yamaha 2.5 2stroke, which i was told was seized, but alas, works fine
Any recomendations for a small tender, good quality, rolls up small, suitable for three persons.
Cheers
