Temporary Sprayhood Window Repair

I have seen a thread about replacing windows and will do this in the winter. Meanwhile my windows are cracked and broken as they have gone brittle. Has anyone found a product to stick over the broken windows as a temporary repair?
I used gaffa tape on the first crack but it needs something wider and hopefully clear

Not used it on a spray hood but there’s stuff called Tear Aid which is clear self adhesive tape for PVC and can be used on dinghy repairs so holds up well to water/weather.

B&Q also sell a clear tape on a roll amongst the duck tapes (it might actually be from Gorilla but I no longer have the box), which does a good job of waterproof, strong, transparent repair.

Caravan stores sell a clear repair tape, for acrylic window cracks.

Polytunnel polythene repair tape is available in widths from 5cm upwards from ebay etc. It's strong and durable.

Why wait until winter to replace? I replaced my 3 sprayhood windows a couple of months ago, it only took a day.

“All Weather Tape” from Toolstation. I used it on a clear tarpaulin over the boat - worked well and easily outlasted the tarp.

Another vote for clear Gorilla tape. Lasted 2 seasons - might have done more but had new panels fitted.
