Maybe a local (Italian) VoIP service provider but I'm struggling to see why. In Spain a lot of local trades use WhatsApp which is a kind of VoIP alternative. But the key if you want a VoIP system is a provider with a gateway to the local telephone network. Or just use your mobile phone.Thank you for your explanation of your VOIP system - it makes sense with your VPN system and the land line (UK) exit.
I would like to use my prepayed italian SIM card (TIM mobile network, Italy, Voice & Data, italian mobile number with prepay plan 9EUR/month) with the Teltonika router RUT241 on the boat to make normal local phone calls. The TIM SIM put into the router connects well into the TIM network for IP data (internet TCP/IP) - but I see no way to connect a local phone / IPphone to this line?
