Teleflex steering lubrication

I have a 24' fishing boat with a teleflex steering system from wheel to a lever on top of the rudder post. Can anyone please advise on lubrication of this system which is 20 years old, but working ok. I am keen to have it running smoothly as I am about to fit an autopilot. Thanks Nic

From what I remember about Teleflex, if the outer sheath is intact it shouldn’t need lubricating, but if I was going to, I would raise one end and tape a plastic funnel shape around it, then tip some engine oil down it.
