It's a bit of long shot but this forum often comes up trumps.

My teenage son is in year 2 of a btec in music technology and needs some work experience early next year.

A Recording studio or with a some one who produces electronic music.

He's a nicer than average teenager (i would say that)

buckinghamshire area or North London.

as I say a long shot but if any one can help.

Regards

Jim

Why not try working in a venue that has live music.

He'll still have to mike up all the kit, do soundchecks, and the mixing desk and outboard effects principles are the same.

He might be able to take a crafty feed from the desk to a 4 or 8 track recorder if he's lucky.

Also, it's loads more fun than working in a recording studio! Recording studios are usually airless windowless music factories on some industrial estate, where a live music club has beer and girls.
