Teal boats

Does anyone have any background knowledge of Teal boats. I have bought a Teal 18 and refurbished it. It seems that all the boats made by them which I have seen are individual and almost custom made. Its as solid as s'@#t but there is an air of mystery as to its origin. Buying a Teal 22 because they are such lovely boats and easy to work with as well. If anyone has any information it would certainly be of interest.

p.s. Its not the size of your boat that counts, its the HP it pumps out that counts!!!!!

Unfortunately I do not seem to have details on the Teal 18 although I can see it quite clearly in my mind's eye. The simulated clinker hull always looked so attractive. They were built by Teal Boats Ltd. I have all the specifications of the Teal 22' but that's not much help.

Could you give me all the specifications for the Teal 22 as I am soon to purchase one in project state. Massive cockpit are and once again same as the Teal 18 solid hull and well thought out layout creating maximum space illusion. I'd love to get in contact with the builders of these boats.

Aft cabin model. 22' long, 7'9" beam, 1'2" draft
weight 2240 lbs.
Use up to 150 hp inboard or max. 50 hp outboard.

I don't have the spec for the Sports model, that is the one with open cockpit at the stern. The engine reccomendations will however be the same.
