You can use oxalic acid - brings it up just fine

I tried it - and the result was really nice looking - 3 months later all the bungs covering the 1200 screw holes started to pop out.

i havnt tried the product you mention. however i have used DECKS OYLE, or however its spelled. i cleaned the teak well, applied the requisite number of no 1 (kept it wet and allowed to soak in) then applied six coats of no2. this was last summer, and out of the water. It was during an extended dry period.in other words perfect conditions. the boat hasnt been back in yet, but the decks oyl has given up already. I did everything in accord with the manufacturers instructions. the top coats of no 2 allowed moisture to get underneath, even though i allowed some to remain on the gell coat as an additional seal. Now im only giving you the benifit of my experience, which cost me in excess of thirty quid, but i would not recomend that product to anyone!

Just applied Starbright Premium Golden - came out well in the tests, looks good, really easy to apply (keep it off the gel coat), but will see what it looks like in a couple of months.

I would use Burgess Wood Sealer, invented by the bloke who brought us "Hammerite" when he wanted something to sort out the woodwork on his yacht! It's great stuff.
