Hello

Where might I buy the copper pipe for a taylors stove. Also, how do you put the collers in the pipe work?

Many thanks in advance

microbore copper tubing is available from a wide variety of sources; Ebay, screwfix, B&Q to name but three. If you are referring to the 'collars' in the pipejoints, those are called olives and are typically sold alongside the microbore piping, both separately and together with compression joints, elbows, valves and other pipefittings.

But alas, not I fear in the smaller sizes used in Taylor's stoves. http://www.bes.co.uk/products/139.asp would be a better bet but unless the OP really knows what he is doing just sourcing the parts may not be enough.

Are you refering to their model 079D ? If so I can help.
Either way make sure there are no burrs or deformation of the end of the pipe before you slide on the compression nut then the `coller`/olive. Ensure the pipe is push fully home in to the female (and maintained there) while tightening the compression nut.

Thanks for the reply. The stove is a Taylors 28. Basically the stove was taken out of a boat and all the pipe work was cut at the ends to make removal easier. Thanks again for any help.

The compression joints on mine appear to have been soldered as well. The previous owner has receipts for it being recently refurbished by Taylors.
