200 hrs is up and time for tappet adjustment on my KAD43's. I intend to rekindle my motorcycle maintenence skills from a few decades ago. Is there one position where all valves are closed or do I have to go to each pair and do a 'exhaust down do inlet' malarky. Is it possible/easy to hand turn the engine.
Do I need new rocker box cover gaskets
Any tips??

David from you post it is obvious that you are not fully conversant with engines, my advice would be get a good engineer to show you how this job is done correctly. Dont be put off, it's not a difficult job and I’m all in favor of working on your own boat, but, if not done correctly you could cause severe damage to a very expensive bit of kit.
My advice get some help the first time??
