Good! Older mechanically governed design, but generally regarded as a good engine. I had 2 of them and did 600 hours with no problems; plenty others on here have them or have had them. In line 6.I am looking into a Princess 415 with TAMD63 1989

The early 415's had 60c at launch, then 61A and late models had the option of 71A and possibly B's
If it is 63P or L in this 1989 model it must be a refit at a later time or wrong description.
Possibly this one then at BCU http://www.yachtworld.co.uk/boats/1989/Princess-415-2701569/United-Kingdom
Spec says TAMD63 with 306hp, so looks like a typo for one of those figures, brokers![]()

Yeah and BCU are supposed to be the masters of boat selling![]()
You get the impression because its a 26year old lump of GRP for only £55K its the equivalent of the that line of old px's you find hidden round the back of posh car dealerships![]()
