I’m trying to find out what the code number is for the rev counters for my Volvo tamd61a engines, I have another rev counter coming and need to find the code to program it.

If it’s s new boxed one there is a manual that shows how to code and the code for the relevant engine .
If it’s a used one you have to erase the previous code before you can re set it .

It’s a second hand one with no code table. Do you know how to clear the old code and which code I need for a tamd61a? Any help you can give me great. Many thanks

Where is boat , if it’s the correct one 0 to 4000 then it should be the correct code for the 61 as that range of engines is the same code , the 31/41/42 have a different code and different pick up from the alternator, the61 has an inductive sensor that picks up from the timing gears , ask the supplier what it’s off
