Tall ships

hello folks

so, the tall ships are coming to see us next weekend and I'm really looking forward to seeing them, so much so I am thinking of going out to meet and greet them.
Is there anything i should or shouldn't be doing when I see them or will I be ok as long as I keep out of their way.
Dont want to be a blockade, more of an escort.

Be aware that they go a lot faster than you'd think, especially under sail, so don't cross close ahead.
