No one has yet mentioned the Moray Firth ( no midges), Inverness, Orkney, and all points North East !
FAR better weather than the west. Airport and railhead at Inverness. Good marina at Inverness, throughout Moray, and the Orkneys.

Scottish summers are wonderful,sunny & warm.



It's just the other 51 weeks that are grim.
