Thank you everyone for the contributions, l am now undecided as l have seen a good deal on a 'normal' Raymarine ST60 system and only a bit more. I want the new technology to work, we all use bluetooth etc these days so why not wireless instruments. The problem is the marine environment.

Luckily l have mast steps so a trip up top isn't a real problem, l'll have to look at those numbers again.
