Tacktick instruments - Which windvane is compatible with a MN100-2 Display?

A friend lost his Tacktick windvane overboard in gale winds, and is now asking for my help to source a replacement (I have no idea about Tacktick).

He (still) has the Tacktick mn100-2 Display:



Which windvanes are compatible with this instrument?

Will the Raymarine T120 work? (I believe this is a vintage instrument, of the pre-Raymarine era)

Hi. I have a wind vane which is tacktick available. Compatible wind vanes , if available, would need to be wireless and work on the correct frequency.

Hi and thank you for the reply. He is in Greece, so shipping from the UK is, unfortunately, too expensive due to customs' costs.

I would just be interested to learn which models are compatible.

Tacktick or Raymarine T120

I had the same problem last August when the cups went flying off into the unknown.

The Raymarine spare number is TA101, approx £25 on Ebay, not sure what the direct cost from Raymarine is.

On contacting Raymarine, they said that they had no reports of the cups breaking away.....at least there are 2 of us now!!

Total overhaul kit including battery, cover, gaskets, bearing housing and cups £60 when we did ours last year

Oh, but he lost... everything, the whole shebang. Only the base remains! The whole mast unit needs replacing.
