What really got her was when she found the ironing board, she went mental, she thought I had bought it for her to catch up with things at the weekends because the Slovakian cleaner girl is away on holiday /forums/images/graemlins/crazy.gif
She just shouted for me to make a coffee so I took her a biscuit as well /forums/images/graemlins/wink.gif. I tried to explain that when you start boating with nothing it does cost money to get all the gear but when you have it, if you look after it then you could use it for years. She is not even halfway yet, she found spare nav lights, my 3 x spare gps systems, the ironing board and iron, 8 x torches, an ioniser, deep fat fryer, 3 x chopping boards, knife rack, washing basket, battery booster, toastie machine, para anchor, 2 x spare anchors (fluke and grapnel), my humador, strip light, paddling pool, 6 x water containers, spare microwave, washing line and clothes pegs, 4 sets of plastic plates and cups, 5 x sets of cutley, spare quilts and bedding, cordless drill, drill bit set, soldering iron, spare engine and Zodiac dinghy, shark, water skis and selection of pull lines, 4 x cool boxes, epirb, selection of invertors, Underwater camera & lenses, Underwater video camera, flares, 12 life jackets, oxygen, 4 x fire extinguishers, Library of boating books, coat hangers, selection of spirits, beer and wine, and other odds and ends, and she is still in the conservatory /forums/images/graemlins/shocked.gif
I'm in for a ROUGH night, and she is due to give me the money for the 24ft er on Tuesday, it's going to be a turbulent couple of days, especially when she see's the options list, and shiney new trailer, I am now scared to give her the invoice for the Defender 90's power upgrades, and interior personalisation /forums/images/graemlins/crazy.gif
Perhaps whe has just decided to take boating more seriously and wants to know what everything does and why it is there /forums/images/graemlins/confused.gif
