SWMBO has REALLY hurt me :-(

What really got her was when she found the ironing board, she went mental, she thought I had bought it for her to catch up with things at the weekends because the Slovakian cleaner girl is away on holiday /forums/images/graemlins/crazy.gif

She just shouted for me to make a coffee so I took her a biscuit as well /forums/images/graemlins/wink.gif. I tried to explain that when you start boating with nothing it does cost money to get all the gear but when you have it, if you look after it then you could use it for years. She is not even halfway yet, she found spare nav lights, my 3 x spare gps systems, the ironing board and iron, 8 x torches, an ioniser, deep fat fryer, 3 x chopping boards, knife rack, washing basket, battery booster, toastie machine, para anchor, 2 x spare anchors (fluke and grapnel), my humador, strip light, paddling pool, 6 x water containers, spare microwave, washing line and clothes pegs, 4 sets of plastic plates and cups, 5 x sets of cutley, spare quilts and bedding, cordless drill, drill bit set, soldering iron, spare engine and Zodiac dinghy, shark, water skis and selection of pull lines, 4 x cool boxes, epirb, selection of invertors, Underwater camera & lenses, Underwater video camera, flares, 12 life jackets, oxygen, 4 x fire extinguishers, Library of boating books, coat hangers, selection of spirits, beer and wine, and other odds and ends, and she is still in the conservatory /forums/images/graemlins/shocked.gif

I'm in for a ROUGH night, and she is due to give me the money for the 24ft er on Tuesday, it's going to be a turbulent couple of days, especially when she see's the options list, and shiney new trailer, I am now scared to give her the invoice for the Defender 90's power upgrades, and interior personalisation /forums/images/graemlins/crazy.gif

Perhaps whe has just decided to take boating more seriously and wants to know what everything does and why it is there /forums/images/graemlins/confused.gif

maybe if you suggest she gets a toyboy she will leave you in peace to enjoy your hobby.

try it
/forums/images/graemlins/cool.gif

The folding bike is in the dining room and she is in there NOW /forums/images/graemlins/shocked.gif I didn't realise I had 7 x spare fenders still in plastic covers and flat, I can't remember buying them. She has also found the honda Eu10i generator, she wants to know why we didn't use it this year. I don't know why but I also found a spare Stainless Steel prop from from the last boat, with the 4.3GL with SX drive, she has also found charts for the whole South coast from last year, 5 garmin memory cards, a 60gb photo ipod /forums/images/graemlins/shocked.gif and cigarette charger lead, dry bags, freezer bags, AVL fast inflator, towable doughnut, vacume storage bags, a hoover with light, 3 x disposable BBQ's 8 x gas canisters, a 12v 10" TV, folding deck chairs and table, a tent, sleeping bags, selection of cooking pots, boat hooks, buoy picker upper hook, petrol powered Go-Ped, dive mask & fins, toaster & kettle, shore power leads, 30mtr hosepipe and connections /forums/images/graemlins/shocked.gif canvas bucket, spare ropes, DVD player and DVD's, dehumidifier, childs safety line, spare fuel, Isolaide resusitation device, first aid kit, gas BBQ lighter, thermal foil blankets, handheld VHF, spare oil, tool bag, navigation equipment (manual), a quantity of the business class flyers toilet bags, bike pump, air cannister horn, manual bilge pump and pipes, bottle coolers, Super solar shower bags, fire blanket, toilet rolls, radar reflector, 1,000,000 rechargeable light, 500,000 rechargeable light and she is still going /forums/images/graemlins/shocked.gif

I am REALLY in for it, HOW did it happen, I can't be the ONLY person with this problem /forums/images/graemlins/crazy.gif

What about the PLUG?

Tell me you remembered to buy one - because surely sooner or later, someone will tell you to use it /forums/images/graemlins/grin.gif

You're gonna need a bigger boat and one of these...........

/forums/images/graemlins/shocked.gif She has just gone out and done the garage quickly looking for something and found the 911 /forums/images/graemlins/shocked.gif and I have just been told she is DOING my shed TOMORROW /forums/images/graemlins/shocked.gif Well it's a log cabin 14' x18' full of racking with my spares on /forums/images/graemlins/shocked.gif I have HAD IT now, Goodbye my cyber friends, this may be IT /forums/images/graemlins/shocked.gif She will find the marquee I bought and have not used this year /forums/images/graemlins/shocked.gif plus all the stuff I have got in advance for the 47ft er in two years time, I am going to be toast /forums/images/graemlins/crazy.gif

Just as well she found the toaster early on, with a bit of luck she will have forgotten which pile she put it down on!

It's NOT funny, I just popped my head in and she said it all started because the f..ing dealer said there was less storage on the new boat /forums/images/graemlins/shocked.gif So she wanted to see what there was to store and when I showed her she went Ape sh!t, apparently there are only two cupboards on the new boat /forums/images/graemlins/crazy.gif and the under seat storage which is smaller than the 22ft er /forums/images/graemlins/crazy.gif Why Oh! Why did I just not agree to get the 34ft er, if when standing at the helm and cr@pping myself I knew what I know now, I would have taken it there and then, not only am I now cr@pping myself I am stressed beyond belief because she has been looking up prices on google, she is about to go on the Snipe website /forums/images/graemlins/crazy.gif And then Landrover website, she found the landrover option list on the invoice /forums/images/graemlins/crazy.gif I feel like jumping but I'm on the ground floor at the moment /forums/images/graemlins/crazy.gif

She even called me a pr@tt a minute ago /forums/images/graemlins/crazy.gif

You have really made my Sunday!!! Welcome back Pete! Can't have as much stuff as you say, you've been posting on here too often today - LOL /forums/images/graemlins/grin.gif

Danger to navigation

In the light of today's events it would appear that care should be taken while navigating waters around the Medway and the Solent. It is becoming increasingly clear that in particular night navigation. Please be on the look out for such light configurations which may indicate that GC1 is in the area. /forums/images/graemlins/grin.gif

I can't vouch for speed, but this may depend on correct use of trim tabs!!

Duncan, this is serious, she has found the throw line, washing up bowl, mini flares and pot noodles /forums/images/graemlins/blush.gif. I went into the dining room and she has just told me to get out /forums/images/graemlins/crazy.gif.

She is bashing away on her computer muttering that nobody on their right mind would need all that kit on 22ft boat, I said we would have a 24ft on Friday but she slammed the door /forums/images/graemlins/shocked.gif
