I thank also Yachting Monthly and Jonathan Neeves for their investigations about anchor in the last october magazine
I would have thought that was quite easy and obvious. If you were performing work for someone else, and it was being discussed on the forums quite heatedly, would you not keep your business identity separate from your personal one?
In addition, he obtained the permission of the mods to do so first, which is commendable.

I find this absolutely bizarre!I would have thought that was quite easy and obvious. If you were performing work for someone else, and it was being discussed on the forums quite heatedly, would you not keep your business identity separate from your personal one?

At one time, I had two forum identities: one was my "private" one (like many others, it was my boat name) the other was a "business" one (my real name) that I used when posting in connection with articles that I write for IPC magazines.
It was made clear to me in no uncertain terms that I was only allowed one forum identity My reason for having two was not considered relevant: it was one or none.

LS,
This is a thread about suspended threads. We're not allowed to discuss anchors.

PS You're right.
You might find it amusing that Delfin is leading the fight against Rocna in the States and has published tests on it which are being quoted on US fora.
Yes, he has also been active here on YBW.
Delfin did a sterling job with those tests earlier in the year and they were very widely discussed at the time. Whilst we clearly do not agree on some subjects we are as one on the subject of anchors.
