I also find IPC attitude to commercial posts - ie RocnaONE being allowed to post under an alias, quite shocking. Wake up IPC - make these guys post transparently, especially when what they are spouting (with the protection of IPC) is perhaps rather far from the truth, as has been proved by Grants emails.
JUST WHO IS ROCNAONE? He could be Bumbury for all we know....

I agree, it is a little odd.
RocnaOne is Sarabande of this parish. He doesn't like me saying so as it seems that he wants to have the benefit of dual identity and doesn't want to come out of the closet. Nevertheless, they are one and the same.
Perversely, I'm not sure why he is so shy. Sarabande has been posting here for ages and has been helpful and informative on many issues.

I would have thought that was quite easy and obvious. If you were performing work for someone else, and it was being discussed on the forums quite heatedly, would you not keep your business identity separate from your personal one?
In addition, he obtained the permission of the mods to do so first, which is commendable.

Well surprise surprise, the second thread to be pulled as soon as I make the mistake of announcing I will post the most damning evidence yet.
It is quite obvious that fiction is preferred more than truth and there is much to be hidden.
I am surprised that the action has been taken to close the thread especially after the article written and published by YM was backed up with written evidence.
None of the facts I posted in either thread has been challenged or disputed or even answered in open forum by the "other side". Why not?
Pulling this thread will not stop this story and the facts getting out, it only makes everyone involved in exposing the truth more determined to do so.
Perhaps Natalie, you and the legal team, as part of investigating your legal standing in this saga, would like the relative "cold hard proof" backing every posting of mine sent by email to you for evaluation?

I can understand IPC getting cold feet in the face of any legal threat they might have received, but I still don't understand why once again they have removed the whole thread, rather than just the disputed posts.
It's a pity those who haven't previously followed the threads can't see the seemingly habitual inconsistencies and evasions of all those associated with a certain brand of anchors, and the technical illumination provided by Delfin (IIRC it was he who funded indepndent tests), Grant, and the engineering experts on the forum who have helped interpret the technical issues.
(Just to clarify, I've no connection with any manufacturer or supplier, and I neither own nor am likely to own in the foreseeable future any 'new generation' anchor. Just a fascinated bystander.)

The costs legally are huge if they get it wrong. Just read about walker wingsail, to see why they get jitters...
Kim, one of the early mods, who was full hands on here, used to complain privately, that legal people used to hit ybw late on Friday afternoon, just before 5pm, for maximum effect.
