Of course we all took stuff that merely took up space and never got used. I'll start:

More meat than I could eat before it went off.

Tools - enough to build a small boat for emergencies.

Sextant

Spare carpet.

I would say 'curtains' but they were quite useful in the end.

Hey Paul, You missed "A HULL"

Yes, anyway

Enough food and water to stay at sea for another 1 1/2 Months.

2 of my 5 buckets (They were always in the way)

Enough pots n pans to impress Gordon Ramsey

1 of my 2 spare alternators

Far too many cloths. (handy for my fancy dress party crossing "out of soundings" though)

hedge trimmer.

Paul, I thought you would of listed the dining room table with 6 chairs (including two carvers). I suppose you used it to play pool on. /forums/images/graemlins/grin.gif

Any trip that required fire exts, liferaft, grab-bag,survival suit etc. I would have to regard a failure. Items I found useless on Azores trip were viola and coal-burning stove-and I suppose I must say, rudder
